IAA-Frankfurt: Khumbhamela for Automobiles

I had been to the IAA or Internationale Automobil Austellung held in Frankfurt between September 14th to 24th. It was a privilege to have attended one of the oldest and the largest auto expos. Here are some that caught my eye at die Messe.

Too many British references: I would rather enjoy IAA than drive British in Germany.

Break the stereotype: Auto Expo? Mercedes have drones too!

And the Bus too!: Wait a minute, isn't Commercial vehicle fair next year at Hanover?

Smart Electric: Smart for Police reminds me of Jacques Clouseau.

Why should grown-ups have all the fun?: A track made by Hyundai-Kia for children to drive and enjoy.

Bayerische Motoren Werke

The Hulk: Enter the BMW hall and you are greeted by this monster.

Where tomorrow meets today: BMWi Vision Dynamics

The future is now!

Big launch of the "small" car: BMW i3 facelift

BMW 2008 effect?: Autonomous tech featured in this small fellow.

Majestic: BMWi Vision Dynamics in full flow.

Golden Cabriolet: The all new Z4

Redefining luxury: The 8 series coupe

Mother of all SUVs?: World premier of BMW X7.

Colourful!: Doesn't matter as long as it has all colours.

Need for Speed?: The high-performance M4 GT4

2 Tired: From 6 wheeler at 1 end, 2 wheeler at the other.

MERCEDES-BENZ

Hall of the 3 pointed star was always a crowded place. Upon entering, one would find the Smart electric cars first, thronged by people. Zigzag through the crowd and reach the floor where the star attractions are placed. First-up the facelifts and next-gen models.

Live in style: The S-class coupe

Caught in awe: The drive-line that has caught everybody's attention

Made of Champions: Think of Mercedes, racing always comes to your mind. Here are the beasts from F1 and DTM,
