FOREVER LOVE
Prologue
"Leave me alone!", she shouted."You don't love me the way you used to. You are just making a fool out of me."
It was Valentine's day and everything was going fine for me until I met her that evening."You are only concerned about friends and never do you think about me", she went on. "You are always concerned about your friends and are always with your friends that you don't even think about replying to my texts. I wonder what you do while with them." "Best friends will always have some topic or the other to chat about. Sometimes that chat runs for hours. We usually forget time running.", I replied. "If its Ramesh, I can understand. But what do you have to talk with Chandra or Zeenat for god's sake?", she asked. "They have been my best friends since I joined college along with Ramesh! I get to speak with Ramesh during the break but rarely do I speak with my other friends! Whenever we get an opportunity, we talk for hours." She was not satisfied with my answer."Don't tell me you are jealous!!" Both of us were gazing at each other's eyes now.
"I am not jealous. I am just not able to digest the fact that you give priority to your friends, especially Chandra even after she has hurt you so much. I feel terrible, Srikkanth.", she said, still angry with me that I had been trying to get back in contact with one of the best friends I had ever had even after Sripriya, my girlfriend, had threatened break up if i did so. She just could not understand how and why myself and Chandra became friends and later best buddies. I had tried many times in the past to explain it to Sripriya, but to no avail. This time she was at her peak, venting out her anger against whatever I spoke and even when I did not speak. "Lets break up Srikkanth."
I stood there in silence for a few seconds.
"Even if you say no, I am breaking up with you.",she said with tears in her eyes. I held her hand but she freed herself from my clutches and started walking away, ignoring my calls. Oh my god, what have I done, I thought.
CHAPTER 1
I was sitting there at the railway station, waiting to meet my best friend, Chandra. We were in our second semester and we had become so close friends within 4 months. She was late that day as she had one of her treacherous labs. I was waiting, jumping in between consciousness and unconsciousness, when batches of girls from the nearby women's engineering college began to arrive. It was the usual crowd and the trains were sure to get crowded.
As I was trying to get used to the sudden burst of activity in an usually calm station, I heard a voice say,"Excuse me, could I have a seat?" I thought for a moment that Chandra had arrived but this voice was much sweeter. As I turned, to see who the speaker was, my eyes met with her dark eyeballs."My bag is hurting. Would you mind if i take a seat?", she asked again. I moved to the edge of the bench, giving her the room she wanted. Strangely, I found myself gazing at her every other minute. She was sitting like an angel in a white Churidar with a green Dupatta. She was fair, thin and tall for a young lady. She had straight hair that were not so long. Her face was gorgeous even though she had not smiled since she sat. I could see that she was tensed and visibly shaken. I could not help myself but wonder why but could not dare to open my mouth. She took a book from her bag and started reading it. "What is the book's title?", I heard myself asking her to my own surprise.

CHAPTER 2
"Uhmmmm... Engineering Mathematics by Grewal."
What a sweet and lovely voice!, I thought. I just did not pay attention to her. "Excuse me?" , I asked. "Engineering Mathematics", she repeated as she dug deep into her book, still nervous and searching for something. I just could not keep my curiosity away and asked her, "What are you searching for?" "Just mind your own business!" I was broken. I wondered how a person with such a sweet voice be so rude to a person who asked a couple of questions out of curiosity. I decided not to look at her until she boarded her train. But in a split second i found myself gazing at her, admiring her beauty. I was praising the god for his beautiful creation. He is indeed a master craftsman, I thought. Triangular nose, not so long, just the right size. Naturally shaped eyebrows, fair complexioned, not so skinny hands, lovely nails that were nicely shaped. I could surely say she never had the need to visit a beauty parlor. Everything was right about her looks. She was just perfect, except she was nervous and that was pricking me.
In the midst this I did not notice that Chandra was standing right behind me gazing suspiciously and laughing. A knock on my head from her brought me back to reality as I saw Chandra. Chandra was fair, quite tall, skinny, curly haired and a very intelligent person. She was one of the top rank holders in my class in the previous semester. I always admired her for the control she had on her life and the way she studied and inspired me to study. I had secured 83% in first semester and I owe her for the way she made me to plan to study. She was more like a sister to me.
Chandra, wearing an orange dress, moved herself between me and the girl. She kept peeping into the book, she was reading. No one spoke for sometime.
Then, Chandra spoke to the girl. "Looks like you too are an engineering student like us.", she said. "Which department are you?" She had seen the ID card worn by the girl and knew right away that she did not belong to our institute. "Co..computer science", was her reply. Her voice was cracking and something inside me told me that she was about to break down. Something had horribly gone wrong for her, earlier in the day.
really wondering why she broke up, if she really loved him , she would have told him emotionally and affectionately to spend more time with her ....They both have been brewing a Low-Quality Beer fr years !!!!
